  Medical Qigong Practical Sessions at the School

 PART ONE

 

  "Two-fingers Sword Hand" for projecting a narrow beam of Qi

  Six Days at the School

 

Each day will contain Qigong practice, Sensing and emitting Qi, Practice in locating Acupoints

 

Further topics include: Medical Qigong and its History, Contraindications for Medical Qigong, A Taoist Neigung Protection Meditation, Qi experiments - Getting in touch with your personal energy, A simple Medical Qigong healing,  Practice in Teaching Qigong,  Performance Criteria for Learning and Teaching Qigong,  Sensing the State of Qi, Hand Techniques for Sensing Qi, A general Balancing and Healing Procedure, A Neigung Colour Meditation, As the days progress there will be the opportunity to work with volunteer ‘patients’.

 

This first block of practical days will also include assessment of Part A Practical, your Journal and Home Study Units A- F.

 

The last day will include preparation and materials for Supervision ONE.

 

PART  TWO

 

Six Further days at the School

 

Each day will contain Qigong practice to a higher standard and variety than in Part One of the course., More experience in prescribing and teaching Qigong, Sensing and emitting Qi (with a greater degree of control), Practice in locating Acupoints

 

Further topics include: ‘Dancing Qigong’ and a Re-balancing and Harmonising Procedure, Qi Sensitivity and Healing Routine, Medical Qigong treatments for Internal Organs, Intention in Healing – some key characteristics. Practical Ideas in Qigong, Analysis and design of Qigong exercises,  Use of the ‘Qi Needle’, Taoist Breathing Parts One, Two and Three,.

 

There will be more opportunities to work with volunteer ‘patients’.

 

This final block of practical days will also include assessment of Part B Practical , your Jounal and Home Study Units G - K.

 

The last day will include preparation and materials for Supervision TWO.
